DLP stands for "Digital Light Processing" and the video projectors whose lamps work based on this technology use small mirrors that reflect the light towards the screen. The images in these video projectors are produced by a color wheel (which consists of the three main colors blue, green and red).
LCD video projectors, or Liquid Crystal Display, use three separate screens to display blue, green, and red colors. Each of these screens has millions of liquid crystals, each of which appears as a colored pixel, so that the image with true color resolution is formed on the screen.
LED is a common term in display technology that stands for Light Emitting Diode. Unlike LCD and DLP projectors that focus on spreading light on the screen, LED projectors focus on the light source. In these video projectors, a laser is used to transmit the image on the screen, and this factor significantly increases the useful life of the lamp.
